I am an retired U.S. Navy SEAL Captain. During my 26 year career, I was privileged to be the Commanding Officer of a SEAL Team and the Commodore of a major SEAL command. I served in combat in Iraq for two years and In Afghanistan for over a year. As the senior SEAL at the Pentagon on the Navy staff I had a hand in shaping special operations missions around the globe and equipping of the force for years to come.
Four years ago my family and I specifically choose to move to Simsbury for its terrific school system, fantastic community spirit, and rich 350 year history. We’ve quickly fallen in love with Simsbury and have been inspired to participate in maintaining the high quality of life that our town has to offer. I’m a proud member of the Simsbury Police Commission, which is a five person advisory board to our outstanding police department. The commission helps shape community outreach, effectiveness, and partnership with the town. I’m also a member of our local VFW Post 1926. I care deeply about assisting military families and honoring the legacy of those who have served. Preserving the elegance and quintessential New England charm of our town are of the utmost importance to me. Coupled with smart economic growth, I will bring commitment, integrity, and a perspective of wanting what is best for Simsbury, not only for today but for years to come. I ask that you put your trust in me knowing that I’m dedicated to hearing your voice and being your advocate to help shape our awesome town. I would appreciate your vote on November 2nd.
Thank you!
