Angel has over 20 years of financial experience working for public and private companies ranging from start-ups to $22 billion in size locally and internationally. He is a graduate of Strayer University with an MBA in Finance and is a Certified Risk and Insurance Specialist. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Titan Roofing, Inc. – a premier New England commercial roofing company. During most of his career Angel has dealt with controls on spending, providing directions, executing sound decision making, managing forecasts, budgets, personnel, and development efforts. He believes strongly in responsible budgets and has shared his extensive knowledge of budgeting and best financial practices. He would bring that experience and perspective to the Simsbury Board of Finance.
Angel and his family set roots in Simsbury for its excellent schools, open spaces and small-town feel. He firmly believes that maintaining these qualities while wisely managing town finances will ensure Simsbury remains an excellent place to live, work, and raise a family.
Angel is a loving husband and a father of two young children. He has a vested interest in maintaining Simsbury’s standards for years to come and is heavily involved in volunteering for our town’s Soccer Club, Little League and Basketball programs. It comes naturally for him to give back to Simsbury’s community by exercising his financial expertise on providing accountability and fiscal responsibility with taxpayers’ money.
